I am looking for a beginner’s level horse for myself and the entire family to enjoy. Ideally this horse would be 14-15 hands tall, with some exceptions. Needs to be okay with other horses in the pasture, stands well at the mounting block, stands for farrier, etc. Would prefer a bay or black horse, but color is the least of my worries. Age preference is 9-14 with minimal maintenance. Would be mainly a trail horse with light English riding on the side. Looking to spend $7,000 or less.
