JC “Payton Pretty” 2018 16.2 OTTB mare. Payton came off the track in March 2023 and spent a year getting a solid dressage foundation. The past year she’s been ridden by a junior learning to play in the jumper ring. She’s a talented and athletic jumper, would make a killer event horse. She’ll easily score in the 20s in dressage, has all the scope for the bigger stadium tracks, and has been XC schooling several times where she’s shown to be a very brave and quick study! Sweet and loving personality, not super mareish, great for grooming, tacking, hacking, showers, loads like a pro, all the good things. Definitely not your typical “red mare” personality. Same horse off property, rides everything in a snaffle, trail rides, amazing sweater. Front shoes. UTD on everything, great legs and feet, passed PPE with flying colors.
Her ideal partner would be a confident and tactful rider with a steady connected seat and hand. She has three comfortable gaits and is an absolute blast to ride. Perfect for a pro on a budget or a good riding ammy/junior! Probably not the best fit for your kid just coming off a pony, a timid adult wanting something to hold their hand, or your once a week trail rider. She thrives in a program and we’d love to see her go somewhere that will help her reach her potential either out eventing or in the jumper ring or dressage arena. Located in Grant, FL.
