Meet your new best friend, Banjo! A handsome bay 2019 AQHA gelding, Banjo stands 15.1 hands, and has a big personality to match his size. He is VERY quiet, loves attention, and is the first horse to meet you at the gate. Gees Freckles is his registered name, and he is a grandson of Gallo del Cielo “Rooster,” NRHA & NRCHA million dollar sire. Banjo is a fantastic trail horse! He’s been ridden by all ages and riding abilities in a riding lesson and trail riding program this summer. He is a steady ride from start to finish, not spooky, and he is comfortable leading or following. He crosses water, logs, and navigates steep terrain with ease. He handles time off well, and is the same horse whether you rode him yesterday or several months ago. Banjo is well-broke and easy to ride. He neck reins and yields to leg pressure, knows his leads, and can do a flying lead change. He was previously used on a cattle ranch in the Rocky Mountains where he was used for gathering cattle in the high country, and also roping and doctoring a few calves. He even has a little show experience in Versatility Ranch Horse. Banjo has wonderful ground manners, and stands patiently for grooming and saddling. He is gentle enough for little kids to handle him. Dogs, 4-wheelers, traffic and heavy equipment do not bother him. He leads, loads, ties, and stands for the farrier. He is up to date on all annual vaccinations, deworming, and teeth floating. Located at Bar L Stable in Eyota, MN. Contact Tom or Terry Lauth for more information at 507-545-2850. Come meet him and you’re sure to fall in love with him!
