Brief rescue story: Oscar was rescued back in January 2025 from being euthanized due to owner passing away and next of kin not being able to afford his care and feed. Together with kindhearted neighbors, we have been caring for him in all aspects- his feed, veterinary care, ferrier visits, private basic training (natural horsemanship), etc. however, since we don’t know anything about horses we know it’s in the best interest of Oscar’s well-being and long term success that we find a forever home that will continue his training, give him the love & attention he deserves, with equine companionship. He’s Green broke, rideable but still reinforcing his saddle cues. Humans have failed him in his short life but we are confident he will make an excellent trail horse given the chance. Please, serious buyers only. We care for him immensely but due to life circumstances, we are unable to keep him.
