I’ve been around horses for years and truly believe each one has its own personality and story. I take pride in giving my horses the best care and helping them find loving homes that suit their temperament and needs. Whether for companionship, trail riding, or training, I always aim to connect the right horse with the right person. Teddy has had a very active summer and is ridden regularly and taken out on the trail off property, he has no problem riding out the gate onto the blm roads and trails. We will continue enjoying his company until sold. He is pretty straight forward and broke walk, trot, canter. Pretty solid in the arena and likes to have a job to do in the arena, enjoys pole work and giving him something to focus on. In general is very whoah but will have some go if know how to ask for it. Can be ridden english and western. Ted\'s generally a mellow guy. He does get nervous initially in new environments. This is simply due to lack of exposure being hauled off property. He just requires some patience and not exceeding his threshold. Based on this area of improvement, he would benefit from someone with confidence and experience to help him build confidence in new environments. He\'s not a beginner\'s horse for this reason. With that being said, we’ve had a wide range of riders on him this summer and he is very forgiving and tolerant. His main area for improvement is just going to new places. Ted has the potential to be a great trail horse or ranch horse, or just a joy to ride in the arena. He just needs kind and firm guidance to help continue building his confidence.
