This 14-year-old Canadian-bred Thoroughbred mare has a well-rounded background and a great brain to match. After her racing career, she came to the U.S. and was primarily used as a show jumper, gaining valuable experience in the ring. She had a light work period and sat for about five months before I took her on and began rehabbing and retraining her for dressage.rnrnWithin just four months of consistent work, she went to her first dressage show at Training Level and won Overall High Point Open Champion, taking 1st in both classes. She has also successfully shown in Western Dressage, earning 1st place in both Basic and Level 1 tests, and placing 5th overall among all Levels 1–5 in the open division.rnrnShe’s been used in lessons for lower-level dressage and has done well with supervised youth riders. While generally quiet and easy to handle, she can have extra energy when fresh, so she’s best suited for a confident intermediate rider or a program with experienced supervision.rnrnTrailers easily, bathes, stands great for the farrier, and is super straightforward at shows — no drama.rnrnShe’s currently sound, in regular work, and maintained on joint supplements and a consistent fitness program. She does occasionally show some stiffness in the hind end and may benefit from maintenance injections in the next year or two, but continues to improve with proper care and has not needed them yet.rnrnOnly selling due to unexpected financial hardship. She’s a lovely, talented mare with a solid foundation and plenty to offer her next rider.rnrnPlease message me for more videos and information!
