Smooth, comfortable gaits including flat walk, running walk, and a very balanced lope. Naturally gaited and responsive to cues, currently ridden in a snaffle. More whoa than go. Happy is trail tested and very surefooted — she’s ridden at Pacific City Beach, Mt. Jefferson Wilderness, Horse Creek Campground (Florence, OR), Elijah Bristow State Park, and confidently handles indoor trail obstacles at the Oregon Horse Center. She has carried deer, packed gear, and is curious, brave, and steady on all types of trails. Ground manners are excellent — catches, halters, leads, ties, loads, hauls, trims, and bathes easily. She’s green broke but ready for finishing, smart, willing, and affectionate, making her a perfect partner for trail riding, packing, or arena work. She is currently being ridden ~4 days a week.
