Naturally Gaited Trail Mare | Green Broke | Surefooted & Brave

Happy is a naturally gaited mare offering smooth, comfortable gaits including a flat walk, running walk, and a balanced lope. She is responsive to cues, currently ridden in a snaffle, and is more whoa than go.

She is well trail tested and very surefooted, with experience at Pacific City Beach, Mt. Jefferson Wilderness, Horse Creek Campground (Florence, OR), and Elijah Bristow State Park. She confidently handles indoor trail obstacles at the Oregon Horse Center and has carried deer and packed gear. Curious, brave, and steady in new environments.

Easy to catch, halter, lead, tie, load, haul, trim, and bathe.

Green broke and ready for finishing, with approximately 90 rides as of Jan 1. Currently ridden about 4 days per week and could be ridden fewer days with regular turnout. Smart, willing, and affectionate.

Best suited for an intermediate rider or confident amateur looking for a trail partner, packing prospect, or future arena horse. Not a finished, push-button horse yet.
