Zorro is looking for his next person! He’s a 9-year-old, 14.1, absolutely stunning, BLM mustang gelding who’s done a bit of everything before he joined my program— hunted and packed game, worked cattle, and currently progressing nicely in basic dressage training.

He’s w/t/c, schooling walk–canter transitions and some lateral work. He’s smart, quick to learn, and actually a pretty fun little jumper too! Zorro trail rides both alone and in a group and always tries to please. He recently went to his first show and did well.

That said, he’s not a beginner’s horse — he needs to build a bond with his rider and can have a spook here and there, so he’s best suited to someone with experience and confidence. Once he trusts you though, he gives you everything he’s got.

Zorro
• Has Great feet and teeth
• Is up to date on everything
• Is an easy keeper — lives out 24/7 but also great in a stall
• Cross-ties, stands for the farrier, and behaves beautifully
• Has some old blemishes (likely from his wild days) — x-rays available, purely cosmetic, and he’s never been lame with me.
• Is the same horse whether ridden every day or after some time off.
• Would make a lovely lower-level eventer, western dressage horse, or just a fun all-around partner for someone who enjoys a smart, versatile horse with a cute personality.

Zorro still has a few green moments, but he’s genuinely a fun, willing guy with a lot of potential in the right hands.

I am looking for his (hopefully) Forever home, not for someone who will flip him for re-sale.
