Tannen is out of a very nice imported Murthwaite mare bred by the late Thomas Capstick. Tannen shows good substance and structure, with a quiet temperament. He has been raised in a Fell pony herd in the rolling hills of South Dakota, out 24/7 to maintain those great hardy Fell pony traits. Tannen has received age appropriate handling. Even though he has been recently weaned, he can remain for further growth and development until spring 2026. Fiddlehead has been raising, breeding, training Fell ponies since 2012 and is committed to breeding type within the confines of bloodline diversity for the future.
