I've owned this mare for 1 year, purchased from a rescue as part of a package. Sylve is beautiful mare, big boned yet refined, and was previously used as a broodmare and driving horse. I had her DNA tested by the ADHHA (sire known, dam unknown) and subsequently registered. Sylve has excellent barn manners, stands for farrier (slightly wary of hind feet being done), utd on vaccs, teeth, worming. Loves being groomed, stands tied, easy keeper - out on pasture with both mares and geldings. I have long lined her (ground driven) with a bareback pad and had my dressage saddle on her. She is super smart, light and responsive in the bridle. It would not take much to get her going under saddle. Best for intermediate or above, she thrives on consistency (even though I only work with her occasionally, she has shown remarkable growth). She learns quickly has the potential to go in any direction.
