Suzy is a 7-year-old palomino sabino Missouri Fox Trotter (grade) who checks every box — gorgeous, reliable, and a pleasure to ride. She’s as eye-catching as they come and even better to sit on, with a naturally smooth gait and a calm, easygoing personality.

Out on the trails, Suzy is absolutely solid. She’ll ride out alone or happily with a group, and she’s not one to spook or hesitate. She crosses water, bridges, and logs with confidence, handles steep hills with balance, and rides safely along the road. She’s the type I trust to put my beginner friends on without a second thought — steady, patient, and dependable every time. Whether you’re out for a relaxing solo ride or leading a group, Suzy makes every mile enjoyable.

On the ground, she’s easy to handle — loads, ties, bathes, and tacks quietly. She stands perfectly for the farrier and vet and has excellent manners in every situation. Suzy isn’t picky about trailers, either — if she’ll load into a two-horse straight load, she’ll load into anything. She’s been on several different friends’ trailers without a single hesitation.

Suzy has been hauled to countless trail rides and local shows, and even camped overnight without a single issue. Just a few weeks ago, she entered her very first obstacle challenge — her first time ever seeing obstacles — and impressed everyone by taking home 1st place.

Best suited for intermediate riders or confident adult beginners. She’ll easily pack a kid around if you’re leading with no funny business, but she’s not your saintly beginner lesson type — she’d rather plant her feet and judge your decision-making. Has never offered to buck, rear, or bolt.

Suzy sells with a current Coggins, fresh vet check, and is UTD on vaccines (5-way & rabies), teeth, and farrier work. PPEs are welcome at the buyer’s expense, and test rides or FaceTime calls are available upon request.
