Meet Benny! JC: Blue Boy Who 2016 16.1 hand OTTB located in Arvada CO I have had Benny since October 2023 and he was started very slowly with me. He has been used in lessons for beginner + and intermediate riders and definitely is the horse that “rides to his rider”. I think he would excel in a lesson program and think he would be happiest in a lower level home. (Dressage, jumps up to 2ft, flat work) happy to go into more detail - please PM me. Benny has been around tarps, flags, pool noodles, gun fire, dogs, cattle and nothing seems to bother him so he’s super solid and not spooky for rides or on the ground. For flat work he’s a little on the lazier side, but he moves nicely off your legs and seat when asked. He is happiest with hock injections in the spring and front shoes. He loads onto anything. Stands tied, for vet / farrier. Gets along with all horses. Currently lives in a box stall with a run next to a mare and young gelding.
