I purchased Lieutenant (LT) almost 4 years ago from a lady that rode western.
He is a wonderful horse but I want to get something smaller for my granddaughter. LT has been ridden by my trainer 4-5 times a week by my trainer. LT has his leads, side passing, yields to leg pressure and so much more. He has egg bar shoes on front feet as a preventative measure. He comes when called most of the time. Is good with farrier, crossties, bathing, grooming, and trailers great . He is UTD on coggins, vaccines, worming etc. He is due for teeth and sheath cleaning in the spring. He’s not so great for my vet. My trainer gives him his wormer.
He has smooth gaits- W/T/C lopes and jog.
I wouldn’t recommend a beginner on him.
He’s been on trails with other horses, Gone to horse shows.
