4yo 16.1 hand Friesian x Quarter Horse cross. She is incredibly willing to try anything you ask of her. She is very intelligent and retains well. Birdie is experienced with trails, cows, in the arena, bareback, obstacles, jumping and more. She can be left out in the field for 6 months then hopped on bareback with a halter, no concerns or questions. She has jumped low jumps and obstacles like barrels. Birdie bathes, sprays, stands for the farrier and loads quietly. She is an in-your-pocket type horse, always looking for snuggles and scratches. Birdie is also easy to catch and does not discriminate any field mates, mare or geldings. She is utd on worming, vaccinations, and farrier; I have coggins and a PPE on hand as well, health certificate is available to buyer. She does great with vehicles, hikers in ponchos, loud noises. Birdie is amazing in the mountains and on trails being extremely sure footed. I am currently taking dressage/hunter lessons to further her jumping and maneuver abilities. Birdie is extremely willing to work and has a great desire to please. She has huge potential in the competitive world with her drive and will to be the best at what she does and still relaxed enough to take you on a pleasurable joy ride in the countryside and return you safely. She loads easily will back out as well. She is truly fun to be around and has the sweetest personality, like coming to the fence daily for a hose in hot weather. Birdie pastures well with others, usually middle to bottom of pecking order and does amazing in a stall. She is young been started right, and is not overworked. She has absolutely no lameness or maintenance issues. Birdie does well with time off and the same horse every ride. If you’re looking for one to ride on beaches, in town, mountains, or put you in the winner circle, do not pass her up. She has had kids and the husband on her and does extremely well with different riders and levels of riding.
