“Daisy” is a 17 year old Belgian mare standing 16.2 hands high. This lady is perfect all of the way around. Daisy stands tied, stands to be groomed, picks her feet up, stands to be tacked and mounted and takes care of the kiddos like they belong to her. Her patience level is unmatched. This gal will pick up all three gaits but the canter takes a little encouragement and she prefers to take it slow. She is not bothered whatsoever by wildlife, vehicles, tractors or farm equipment. We live right up from MIR race track and she is not fazed by loud race cars/trucks/semis. She is personable and extremely easy to catch in large pastures. Daisy can sit or be ridden regularly and is always the same horse. On the trails, this lady has been there and done that. She crosses water, logs, ravines, mud etc. Daisy will take the lead or happy to hang out in the back. She doesn’t mind being left behind and doesn’t cause a fuss about it. She will hack out English, western, or bareback. We ride her in a halter or snaffle. She is turned out in a mixed heard of mares, geldings, ponies, and yearlings and does fantastic. Daisy would be a fabulous addition to a therapeutic program or someone who wants a slow, reliable horse they can love on and pamper. VIDEO : https://youtu.be/dSp8Fv145_Q?si=iK1rOhemUOwxpucK
