Come and meet Stirling! This big guy has been my special friend for the past two years, but it is time for him to find his purpose with another family that can give him time and attention!

Stirling has it all! CALM demeanor, stunning looks, and size to boot! He was in many green horse shows when he was younger doing ranch trail, halter classes and also ranch riding. This guy will take you places in the show ring! He gets a ton of compliments everywhere we go!

He has a great, slow jog, nice and even walk, and also canter! His ONLY downfall currently is that he has been primarily ridden by my young daughter (9) and she was doing walk/trot classes with him. The last time I rode him I noticed that he was feeling fresh and rushed into the canter- so he will need a small tune-up to get back to a slower canter with out getting excited. He is VERY level headed and should move forward easily with getting back to that "sweet spot."

I taught a few of our horses how to come to the mounting block, and he learned it within 10 minutes! He is a fast learner, and wants to please.

He is a great trail horse, and loves going out. He loves stopping and smelling the poop other horses have left behind, and has a great time with going slow and steady, without stopping for road snacks. HA! He isn't spook at anything, and is easy to navigate through the trails.

He does great for the farrier, and we have kept him barefoot the entire time we have owned him, except recently for trail riding. He currently just has front shoes on.

Stirling has one blue eye on the darker side of his face, and on the white side he has a dark brown eye, with the cutest white eyelashes. He is full of personality, charm and kindness. He is WONDERFUL with little children, and stoops low so they can pet his nose.

He has mainly been ridden with a Western saddle, but I also ride Dressage alot with him as well! He is currently pastured with our other horses- a mix of mares and geldings. He does fabulous with either.
