Onyx is a gorgeous blue roan AQHA mare with serious foundation breeding and a ton of athletic potential. Very sweet and will follow you everywhere.
Sired by Leo Hancock Hazz (Leo Hancock Hayes x Blue Valentine lines) and out of Mucha Blue Valentine, she’s stacked with Hancock / Blue Valentine / Rowdy Blue Man blood—known for bone, feet, brains, and ranch using horses. If you like old-school, cowboy-bred Quarter Horses, she checks that box.

She has a small spot on top of her back that is regrowing hair from a summer sore. About the size of 2 nickels. I can send a video of the area. I put desitin on it to protect it along with putting hair regrowth serum on it 2-3 times a week. It will need attention for a period of time.

Onyx is a cribber. She wears a cribbing collar, and we have hot wire on all fencing. With the collar + electric wire, she does not crib in our setup. Any buyer should be comfortable managing a cribber with appropriate fencing and a collar.

Only reason for sale: she’s too nice to stand around, she really needs to be bred to carry on her blood lines and she needs to be ridden.
