I got Kayla as a rehab project in November. She was Extremely thin and apparently left alone in a pasture for months with no care. Supposedly ridden by a 12 year old girl. She has gained good weight over the winter, but still needs to gain muscle and a topline. This mare is very sweet and dainty so will need a lighter rider once back in shape. She does everything she should....leads, loads, ties, stalls quietly, good for vet and farrier. I have taken her on two very short rides and she is well broke but could use a refresher, very gaited (my guess possibly MFT or Paso Fino) and forward moving....and very fun to ride. Once she is back in shape and has a topline, she could definitely boogy with the best of them. Has potential to be a kids horse when riding with another horse, but at this time I would say she needs an experienced rider. She has been fully vetted, teeth floated and dewormed several times. Because she still needs weight/topline and some saddle time, I will not be doing test rides. All her tack is going with her (14" saddle, circle Y saddle pad, headstall with bit, reins, halter and lead rope. Located in Owen, WI. Has current coggins. Possible local delivery available for a fee. Get her now as is, get muscle back on that topline and put some time into her and you'll have a nice horse. I will start using her as my personal horse once her topline is better and price will then increase with saddle time. Videos available. Will consider trades.
