Please only PM me if you are seriously interested and have read the entire description! Thanks! 🙂 Sabine is a gorgeous14.2 - 14.3 hand 2017 sporthorse mare. She's TB/American Warmblood cross. Sire is well known (deceased) TB stallion Guaranteed Gold and dam is American Warmblood mare Gwenever, she was an eventer/ pony club mount but is now retired. Sabine is not registered. However she may be eligible to register with the American Warmblood Society Registry. Sabine is a super cute, spicy mare. She's middle of the totem poll, and is super chill, and easy going out in pasture among the herd. When being handled she is a good mare - most of the time, very smart, and she can be very gentle and agreeable. But she can also be easily offended, impatient, and pushy. Though I believe most of her her opinions and impatience come from lack of work. She is halterbroke, leads, ties well (but can be extremely impatient and paw at the air), stands for the farrier (sometimes with a bit of reluctants and she can be very fussy and has been known to kick out with her hind feet). She is NOT broke to ride, and is not worked with on a consistent basis. Unless its on her terms (which is extremely rare), it can literally take hours to catch her. HOURS... if you're lucky. She's lived on large acreage pasture in a natural herd setting her whole life. She has been stalled a couple times before without issue. Spice, and all she will make someone who's ingrained with a deeply persistent, and patient demeanor an awesome project! She's had one foal, no issues at all and was a great momma. She'd do great as a broodmare, or riding prospect if you're willing to put in the work. Sabine does occasionally come up lame on the front from hoof abcesses - seems worse during the rainy months. I think she might benefit from more specialized farrier work/shoes. She is currently sound and barefoot. We'd love to find her a home before the new year. In regards to the EHV-1 outbreak, Sabine is located on a closed farm with zero contact with outside horses and no new horses coming in. Located in Raymond WA.
