One of the world's oldest breeds, Spud is a Norwegian Fjord standing 15.1 hands tall. This gelding is solid under saddle with his powerful build and willingness to keep going all day. Spud will ride out alone or in a group; he puts his head down and marches out for miles. He has been camping in the Black Hills of South Dakota, where he was riding and carrying packs one day. Spud closes water, down trees, and bridges with ease. He tends to be the lead horse with his bid stride on the trail. He is used to being ridden around UTVs, wildlife, and traffic. Spud will stand tied, loads right up in the trailer, and backs out with ease. He is up to date on all routine care, including dental floats, vaccines, and deworming. Spud is terrible with when it comes to picking up his feet, he is sedated for trims.
