DJ is a lovely moving American Saddlebred I bought from his breeder. He came to me with 2 other horses, and unfortunately despite using every recommendation and doing all "checks" needed they endured a bad experience getting to me. We have worked through any and all issues relating to this since, now likely just needs miles, time, and a bit more weight. His movement is truly spectacular, and would thrive in a busy, active environment. He has loved when we alwere at a busier dry stall environment with lots going on. I am likely not that long term home for him in this case. He was broke to ride in the spring, I have not been on him yet due to working through his journey-to-me issues, but tacked him up and done basic lunging and was great. I have also been 'above him' and is likely very ready to get on and go. Despite his showy movement, he is also high apt to western discplines He would be a great trail partner with another savvy trail horse as he is very brave, or if someone wanted to show trail he loves the "stuff" If kept I likely would try to go for a silver or gold medal on him, or otherwise open&saddlebred show him if I was open for business- but I think would be way happier as a barrel, trail, or otherwise pleasure prospect. He'd eat lines up. I would imagine he'd clean house at open shows, but I am unlikely to show as I typically just make & develop. I'd be open to a lease or lease to own, I am happy to discuss in time for Xmas. 🌟 I have to pay to put videos and pictures here, please contact me directly I can give walk out there. He is further clipped than the picture, but I stopped as nights got cold again! If gone this week I am willing to take $6k. His price will increase to $15k if I get on him even once. I would imagine he would take spectacularly to a junior to ride/teenager looking for something with some size.
