Meet 2012 Aqha Mare “ Cool Frosty Doc” AKA Darla standing 14.3h. Darla has a exceptional pedigree with cow and speed such as “Dash for Cash” on the bottom .
Darla has dabbled in just about everything but never fully finished in a particular job. She’s played on the barrels , poles , penning and sorting . She has done ranch style work and roping . She has tracked the dummy and roped the dummy for fun. Darla has been on miles and miles of all kinds of trail terrain. Pretty much whatever her rider decides to play with that day Darla is so athletic, good minded, and broke enough she will tackle it on with a great attitude!
In the arena Darla is very body broke and rides with a real light rein. Walk , trott , lope beautifully with no fuss . Moves off a light leg like a dream . Side passes , counter arches , moving off haunches etc. . Darla is forward and has all the buttons so not for a beginner or non confident rider . Stops great, backs great the more she’s ridden in the arena the better she gets . With more of a slight tune up you could easily ride this mare bridle-less. The last five years she’s just been enjoying the trails with her owner and the occasional cow play date .
On the trails she is very sure footed and really enjoys just moving along our beautiful Az desert . She’s done all the terrain you can think of and stays sure footed on the rocky / big mountains . You can ride her out with friends or by herself no problem. Hardly anything ever bothers this mare , but if you do find something that does catch her off guard she laughs at herself and then carries on.
Darla stands tied , loads, and tacks up like a dream . She wants to be pulled out and worked or involved . Up to date of Ferrier , vaccines , and de wormer . Recently looked over by a vet as well but pre purchase exams are welcome at buyers expense .
