River sport is a 5 year old OTTB gelding, whose genetics say he should be outstanding at running but it seemed to skip him! His sister won the Kentucky derby, and the rest of his family his family has won more than they’ve lost.

He is the gentlest and sweetest gelding will lay down in your lap. He has had a solid restart off the track and can W/T/C, been over obstacle courses, some trail and some jumps from the ground. At the walk he can be ridden bareback in a halter.
He has absolutely no vices and no bad habits but it’s not marketed as a beginner horse. intermediate riders suggested as he is sensitive in all the right ways but mixed signals make him worried.
Respects fences and can be turned out the pasture just fine!

He has been ridden both English and western and does just fine in a snaffle. He has no problem keeping weight on just grass hay with the same supplemental grain, the rest of our horses get.
