Miley is a great mare that has done just about everything! My daughter has competed with her in reining and freestyle reining in NRHA & AQHA; versatility ranch horse in CoWN & AQHA; used in all-around events in 4-H including english, horsemanship, ranch, gymkhana, reining and freestyle reining at the local and state level; and as a trail riding horse. Additionally, my daughter used her for 2 years as a her rodeo queen horse carrying flags, participating in parades, pushing cattle, and horsemanship patterns. Miley has also competed for a Division I NCAA/NCEA equestrian team as a reining horse and was one of the team favorites. Miley is the sweetest horse in the barn, while also being extremely athletic and hardworking in the showpen. Miley would be great for a semi-advanced youth rider or non-pro. She is a great and patient teacher and still has a lot to give. Miley was started late and has been lightly shown throughout her life, so she is very sound and not sour about showing–low mileage with a lot of experience. She is also an easy keeper at home or at a full-time training barn. She has had four years off of riding/showing due to foaling out two babies, but has been back to work since the spring and is ready to continue riding and showing. Miley is phenomenal on the ground, loves to be groomed, and is easy to load, haul, and clip. She has normal shoes on the front and sliders on the rear. We are only selling as my daughter is going to grad school.
