There’s nothing bad that can be said about Chuck.
Yes, he has his quirks, but who doesn’t.
Chuck is awesome on the ground. He lunges and free lunges with no issues. He has not had very many rides in his post track life, but the few that he has had he was responsive to cues and soft on the bit. He has been in a western and English saddle.
He loves to be in your pocket. He will follow you around the arena and pasture like a lost puppy. He is a sucker for peppermints too. Hears the crinkle of the wrapper and comes running.
Chuck cross ties and straight ties with no issue.
He can also be turned out with other horses without drama.
I just do not have the time this boy deserves. I really believe Chuck would excel as a hunter type horse.
He is currently barefoot and is doing well, but would definitely benefit from shoes once in a solid program.
No known injuries or lameness. PPE are welcome.
