Temperament & Personality
Gunner is a highly personable, "in your pocket" type of horse with an exceptionally gentle temperament. He is very good-minded, known for his composure, and is easy to catch, load, bathe, clip, and stands quietly for the farrier and mounting. He is confident riding alone or in a group and is completely traffic-safe, having been exposed to busy highways and heavy farm trucks.
Gaits & Abilities
As a natural gaited horse, Gunner is known for his incredibly smooth, four-beat running walk, a comfortable gait that eliminates the bouncy trot and makes for a pleasure to ride over long distances. He also performs a smooth, easy one-step lope, and can slow down or speed up when asked. He neck-reins, backs up, and is sure-footed, confidently crossing water, logs, ditches, and navigating steep terrain.
Training & Experience
