If you are looking for the safest horse on the property, this is him. Our 20-year-old Tennessee Walker is the definition of "gentle." He is incredibly smart, sweet, and has a heart of gold. We are looking for a retirement or light-use home where he will be pampered and loved as much as he is here. Highlights & Temperament: *Kid-Tested: He is gentle enough that our children mount him bareback. He is patient, kind, and careful with his feet around small people. *The Ultimate Follower: He is so well-mannered that when we ride our other horse, he will follow along faithfully without the need for reins. *Smooth Gait: As a Tennessee Walker, he has that signature smooth gait that is easy on the rider’s back. Low Maintenance: He is a "been there, done that" type of horse who doesn't get rattled by much. Appearance: He is a handsome fellow with a rich bay coat and a striking, thick black mane and tail. He looks just as good as he behaves. Reason for Rehoming: We simply don’t have the time to give him the attention and riding he thrives on. Our priority is finding him a home where he can be a "best friend" to a child, a beginner, or someone looking for a slow, easy-going trail partner.
