Hello all! I am HALF-LEASING my horse in Petaluma.
Meet Kawasaki aka Kass! 16.2hh 5yr OTTB gelding.
Super sweet boy, beginner-intermediate friendly. Forgiving and trustworthy. (I’m a beginner-intermediate rider and he is patient with me despite my rookie mistakes!)
Good ground manners. Light and responsive to cues and transitions. Eager to please, tries hard to comply and connect.
Kass learns fast and is easy. So sweet that the barn owner thinks he’s a prospect as a lesson horse with a little more training.
We have already taken him to his first cross-country schooling, and he hopped over everything we pointed him at with no problem. No buck, no bolt, no rear, very little spook.
Very chill and brave boy. Lovely on the trail too. I ride him out on the trail in just a gentle snaffle and he’s great.
Leaser would ideally understand that Kass is still learning. Experience with OTTB’s would also be great!
Communication is key! All questions welcome. Kass and I are open books, everything on the table.
Most things are very flexible. Friendly teamwork, good communication, kind treatment, and no drama is really the most important part.
Intermediate riders would be required one lesson every other week. Experienced riders would require a lesson once a month, and this can be flexible depending on schedule and such.
