I have raised this mare and owned her dam as well. She has been an excellent brood mare. Sadly, I have moved to wet humid East Texas and I find I need to sell her to a better climate. She is a horse I never thought I would have to part with. She doesn’t do well in the wet pasture here. She gets fungus on her two back heels and it is not fun to deal with. She would not have this problem to this extent in a dryer mild climate. It’s just too tropical for her here. Her dam was my beast Oldenburg brood mare with many site champion foals. I have used her for Connemara x sport horses as I am a Connemara breeder now. I never put her under saddle, she is sound. I am asking less for her because I want her to go to a good home.
