Stella has had 120 days of training with a western trainer in Cle Elum 3 summers ago who specializes in mustangs. She has mostly been sitting but has been working consistently with an adult with a trainer - both in hand and under saddle mostly walk trot, but she was cantering with the trainer. She needs miles and an intermediate rider working regularly with a trainer or an advanced rider/trainer with green horse experience.

When I brought her back she sat over the winter doing mostly groundwork, then I had a dressage trainer out once a week that spring. Shes been working consistently (4-5 times a week) with someone who has been bringing her back into shape after sitting again and shes been working with her on the ground and under saddle. I can throw her saddle on her or lunge her first and she does fine either way. She has training and is good under saddle, she just hasn't had a lot of miles or consistency so she is still consdiered green.

Up to date on all vaccinations and just had her yearly check up and teeth floated in April 2023 - she is scheduled for another teeth float this month. She is barefoot and also gets selenium supplements in with her grain (which most of the other horses at our barn are also supplementing with).

I have had her DNA tested (dna results the previous owner did said top 3 breeds were andalusian, mangalorca, and selle francais) and she is negative for her 6-panel. Her coloring dna testing included bay coloring with a silver gene, as well as leopard complex spotting. She does not have a grey gene.

I am moving out of country so I unfortunately have made the difficult decision to her. I got her as a 2 year old, and let her mature before sending her for training when she was 6. When I got her I was hoping to do some bareback with her - but she has grown to have withers that aren't comfortable for bareback. She loves having consistency and always comes up to you at the gate or when shes in her stall.

Does best with regular turnout in a paddock by herself. Does great next to other horses but if they are together in the same paddock she tends to be rude and bossy.

I would love to see her go to an experienced teen or adult working with a trainer or an experienced rider who has the time to be working with her much more consistently doing something like english or western pleasure riding, working equitation, trail, dressage, or low level jumping - but she also does fine being left to sit. We also did some liberty work and she did great with that. She is very friendly and curious - very food motivated -- but again smart and would be a horse that could be pushy if you let her- but she loves to come up to the gate to see you.

She is ready to be finished your way - she has lots of potential for many different disciplines! When I got her they told me she loved jumping - I have had her over the cross ties a couple times and she likes it.
