Looking for your ''white'' fantasy horse? Star Dust is one in a million with her gorgeous baroque movement, easy-going demeanor, and super-lux HYPOALLERGENIC curly coat. The natural ringlets in her mane stop people in their tracks and they can't resist running their fingers through her hair. Star Dust is gentle enough for children, beautiful enough for the mother-in-law, big enough for the husband, and willing for YOU! She has a thick baroque stature, elegant curvature of the neck, and graceful movement. She's been kept barefoot with ultra-strong feet that leaves her looking like she's always just seen the farrier. She's safe and GENTLE as can be, and truly wants to please. Before we had her, she was a trail horse for a woman in her 70's and it's easy to see why; she'll walk calmly, but happily trots and lopes off with a squeeze of the knees. She's got a great stop, side-passes like a pro, and backs just as easily as she moves forward. On the ground she's an angel; she lunges on a line or in the ring, lifts all 4 feet, stands tied for hours, trailers like a dream, and bathes like its spa day. In the pasture, she'll follow you if you're around - otherwise she enjoys taking a daily dip in the pond and would stay fat on air. She is completely comfortable with dogs and does well with other horses, resting comfortably in the low-mid tier of the herd hierarchy. This girl is not marish and boasts an even temperament that will be the same day-to-day, whether she's being ridden regularly or if she's been left out to pasture. Either way, she's easy to get back under saddle no matter how much time she's had off. She is registered as 'Wyoming Star Dust' with the American Bashkir Curly Registry, out of Wyoming Free Spirit on the top side, and Mac's Ginger on the bottom side. She is considered grey; almost completely 'white' with grey Appaloosa LP mottling around her eyes and nose. I've had her since last summer and work with her regularly, including clicker training. She was completely and very well broke when I got her, but I've had a lot of fun teaching her positive reinforcement with treats and hand cues. She happily follows my instruction with or without a halter and is gentle and patient when working for her treats, doing a great job respecting my space but staying engaged and 'ready to win the next prize'. While she truly is a dream horse, she is a little too tall for me. Her adopter will receive 3 free lessons to learn how to reinforce the training she has had, with instruction on both operant and classical conditioning. Trailering is available and a PPE is encouraged. She comes with a 30-day health guarantee, offering a 100% refund if she was adopted unsound. In addition, I will offer a 30-day-return-for-any-reason agreement if she isn't the perfect horse for you. Finding the RIGHT home is important to me. Ask for an agreement so you can read the details.
