Sharon JND (Laali) is a striking 2022 black KWPN Dutch Harness Horse mare that’s naturally uphill with 3 solid, eye-catching gaits. Currently 15.2h and expected to mature to 16h. She's been started under saddle and offers a comfortable, sit-able trot, extended trot and a smooth, balanced canter. Light, responsive, and attentive both on the ground and under saddle, Laali has the talent and temperament to excel in sport, driving, or as a refined pleasure mount. She is currently suited well for a confident, intermediate rider under a trainer’s guidance and above as she is still green.
On her first trail ride she handled mud, water, fallen trees, and even leading the group confidently, never offering to spook. Since then she has been exposed to groups of hikers, dogs, bicycles and various wildlife on the trail. She's displayed curiosity and handled each experience very well. She spends most of her time in pasture with both mares and geldings and gets along well with everyone. She is brave, affectionate, and very people-oriented with no bad habits.

- Rides in a side-pull or training halter/hackamore, or double-jointed snaffle bit

Laali comes from a lineage known for producing horses with elevated, expressive movement, strong work ethics, and excellent temperaments; traits that have made KWPN horses competitive in driving, dressage, and sport disciplines worldwide. Whether you’re looking to show, ride on the trail, and/or develop her into your next performance partner, Laali is a special mare ready to shine! Her flashy movement and expressive presence will make her a head-turner in the show ring, and her steady mind and rideability promise an all-around enjoyable partner. Though DHH horses are used primarily in English disciplines, she has potential to succeed in western dressage, competitive trail or similar disciplines.
Offered through no fault of her own, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a quality young Dutch Harness Horse mare here in Northern California. Her novice owner’s changing circumstances simply limit the time she deserves. She is ready for a home that can continue her development and bring out her full potential. A good fit is a must!
