Meet Spanky: a flashy pony with the looks and presence of a mini Gunn­er–bred reining horse. Built right with eye appeal and style, Spanky has been our 4-year-old’s trusty partner as she learned to ride all by herself these past couple of months. He’s the kind of pony every family dreams of: safe, gentle, and always up for an adventure.
The kids have taken Spanky everywhere around the farm, including rides down the driveway, splashing through the creek, winding through the woods, evening drives to visit family, and quiet pasture strolls. He was an attention stealer at our hometown Christmas parade, soaking up the spotlight like a pro. Whether it’s brushing, tacking up, or simply soaking up love, Spanky makes it easy. He’s so eager for attention that he practically puts the halter on himself when you walk into the pasture.
His name comes from The Little Rascals, and just like the character, Spanky is full of charm, personality, and a little extra flair. He is always happy, involved, and right in the middle of the fun. He will lay down and even sit like a dog, which only adds to his big, lovable personality.
We have made so many memories with Spanky, and letting him go won’t be easy. But we know he’ll make another family just as happy as he’s made ours.
