Marigold 16yr. 16.2h Warmblood Sporthorse mare. This beautiful girl is looking for an experienced rider. She is very athletic and balanced and unlike some, she pays great attention to where she is placing her feet, she finds traction no matter how bad the footing is. She goes out alone or in a group and is not buddy or barn sour. She is sound with no vices, and requires no maintenance. She was recently brought back into work and has a fabulous neck rein and nice soft mouth. We have most recently been using her to work and pony green horses and she’s been excellent in that role. She’s very handy and goes right to work. Marigold is going to require a very technical and sensitive rider as she has lots of training and buttons that are definitely going to be too much for a beginner rider. She is a horse for a real rider and requires being ridden thoughtfully at all times and not just sat upon. To ride she is very light, sensitive and incredibly responsive, she has had extensive training and is an incredibly nice, forward horse. So if for an AA with a trainer or an experienced rider looking for a work partner, she is your horse!
In addition to being a nice riding horse she could also make a lovely broodmare. She will stand tied quietly, loves to be groomed and loved on, she’s a very sweet girl with good manners. She will load, bath, and clip. Traffic safe. She’s a pleasure to work around and is great for the vet and farrier. She currently lives out in a mixed herd but also does great in a stall.
