Respectable ground manners, easy to lunge, stands to be mounted, ties, bathes, and hauls well. Barefoot with solid feet and stands for farrier. Gets along with geldings and mares in a pasture setting, middle of the herd order. No health issues or soundness issues. Dental & Vaccinations UTD October 2025
Currently in dressage training full time. Had 2 months with a western trainer who rode all over various terrain and trails. Would make a great family trail mount or safe low level competitive dressage or jumping mount. Easygoing, kind & sweet personality that will charge whoever comes to meet her.
Rides western and english. Incredibly smooth and consistent gaits, easy to ride on the trails and we have yet to see her spook. Ukiah is more of a kick ride but not hard to get moving. She is forgiving to leg and seat aids. She is sensitive in the mouth if you pull on her accidentally she will stop.
Ridden off site consistently in different indoor/outdoor arenas and trails. Same off property as she is at home. Not barn/herd sour and a weird side note… she is SO SOFT! Like petting a velvet rabbit, however you imagine that would feel.
Currently ridden in a 3 piece lozenge eggbutt bit or bitless. Rides out nicely on a loose or light consistent contact.
