Fats is an 11 year old Spotted Draft Cross gelding who is the ultimate trail horse! He is cool looking and stands 13.2 hands. Fats is a trusting and forgiving guy who will go anywhere you point him on the trail, alone or with others. He gets along well with mares and geldings, loads, hauls, is easy to shoe and catch. We’ve taken Fats on lots of trail rides in the rocks and mountains, over fallen trees, through water and he is always sure footed and goes with the flow. He has been around every barnyard animal and wildlife you can imagine…goats, chickens, elk, antelope, cats, dogs….you name it, he could care less. He is easy going and is a gelding that is small enough but stout enough to haul just about anyone from little to big. Road traffic, machinery and loud noises do not bother him. He has been ridden in the arena and tracks calves. The kids have roped the dummy off him, he will stand there and not move and gives the kids a chance to practice.
