Just under 14 hands and standing out in both looks and personality, this adorable 4-year-old Haflinger gelding is as fun as he is talented. Highlights: • Forward, athletic, and quick—he can really move and turn on a dime when asked • Stops on a dime • Moves shoulders or hindquarters (can spin the front end or hind end) • Leg yields and side passes • Backs nicely • Shoulder-in and hind-end in • Moves off the leg for correct turns • Can go from halt to canter and back to halt (when set up correctly) He has been cow sorted on and held his own with cattle coming from both sides. He has also done lots of dressage and foundation work and is learning to correctly use his body to come onto the bit and hold it longer and longer each ride. He is ridden both English and western and would excel in a job where you want a horse that can really move—dressage, eventing, cow sorting, gaming, or as a forward, fun trail partner. He stands tied and cross-tied, is middle to low in the herd, and is good for bathing, the farrier, and the vet. He is up to date on shots, Coggins, farrier work, and teeth. At only 4, he still has some growing to do—possibly a little more height, but he will definitely continue to fill out. He’s going to be a stout one. Please note: If you’re looking for a slow, beginner/kid’s or “grandma’s” kick ride, this is not your horse. He is best suited for an intermediate rider and up. You think it, and he does it—this guy is hard not to have fun on.
