Experienced rider seeking a versatile horse for primarily dressage, trail riding light ranch/cow work, and casual eventing. Looking for an all-around adventure partner!
Looking for:
∙ Gelding preferred
∙ Age ~ 4-12
∙ 16 hands or taller
∙ Budget up to $20,000
Training level:
Green is welcome! Horse must have been started under saddle and be accepting of a rider, but does not need to be finished or highly trained. I have the experience and patience to put miles on a horse that needs them.
About the rider:
20 years in the saddle with formal instruction in dressage and jumping. Extensive mounted patrol experience including advanced desensitization training and working regularly with large, powerful breeds in high-stimulus environments. Comfortable and confident with green horses.
Horse must be:
∙ Sound and able to pass a pre-purchase exam
∙ Accepting of a rider
∙ 16 hands or taller
∙ Free of dangerous vices
Not looking for:
∙ Completely unhandled or untouched horses
∙ Stallions
