I have one mini and one small standard donkey I’m considering rehoming. They are both gelded and under 10 years of age. I don’t have papers so their exact age is unknown. I had their teeth floated over the summer, their hooves have been trimmed by my farrier every 6-8 weeks and they are healthy. They need a home with a dry lot, and they eat teff or non nutrient dense types of grass hay. I can handle them, but they can be difficult to catch and would do best in a home with someone who really knows donkeys and has the time to put into their training. I had a dream of doing the Colorado donkey races with them, but life has taken me in a different direction. I am in no hurry to rehome them and am going to be picky about where they go. They must go together as a pair.
