Jake is 19 years old, but don't let his age fool you. He has lots of life left in him. He is a great trail horse, calm and does everything with ease.
Loads/ unloads trailer like a pro, stands for farrier is barefoot currently. UTD on teeth floated (10/25) and feet trimmed in Feb. 2025. Jake gets his feet trimmed every 8 weeks. UTD on vaccines. Jake is well mannered, stands at cross ties, overnight ties. Runs barrels, when running he is 2D/3D. Loves to rope calves and does well with dummy roping. Jake is the first to meet you in pasture every time. No buck, bite or kick. Doesn't spook at things, we live on a farming operation so Jake is used to semi's, big four wheeled tractors, grain bins running and overhead doors opening & closing. I rode him in parades and is unbothered by all the distractions, flags and sirens in a parade. Only reason his temperament is 4 is due to him running barrels he can get jumpy when running barrels other than that he is fine.
