“Queeny” 6 year old WSR mare for consideration to the perfect home.

Queeny has been under saddle since April of 2025 and has had roughly 90 rides over the last year. She has a solid walk/trot and has lightly started cantering under saddle recently. She lunges in a round pen or on lunge line w/t/c both ways, stands tied, can ground tie, bathes, stands to be blanketed, loads/hauls well (though could use some more hauling hours), stalls fine, usually good to catch but can be testy sometimes, stands to be saddled, stands for the farrier with ease and has never needed shoes, ridden english, western, and bareback, can ride in a halter or bit, and mounted from the ground or mounting block. Absolutely no bite, bolt, rear, or spook, can occasionally crow hop with time off but never offered to buck under saddle.

She needs an experienced home to continue her training and someone to commit to her for longer than a few months. Though she’s been ridden both English and western she doesn’t particularly love western riding and would excel in an English home. I have free jumped her before and she seems to enjoy it, has a pretty collection and is light off leg and bit pressure. Never ridden in spurs and has never needed them. Would consider her more go than woah but she will stop when asked and she is still young. She can be testy with new riders and will need a confident rider as she is still particularly green. Queeny has had three confirmed foals in the past, most recently in Feb of 2025. Was a great mom, but gets bored of it fast. Currently own her most recent foal and previously owned her 2024 filly, both have amazing temperaments and size to them. Queeny is still growing and is currently standing 15.1/15.2 at the hip, should finish out to around 15.3.

Only maintenance is she requires a low sugar diet, will discuss further to serious buyers. Can be nervous with new people but warms up to you with patience. Would make a lovely OHSET/WAHSET horse down the road as well.
