Introducing Buck! This guy is a 15.2 hand 9 year old AQHA registered, grandson of the great Peptoboonsmal! Horses pedigreed like him with his size and color are a rare find.
Buck is handy as shirt pocket. He meets ya at the gate and is ready to work. He has a true one handed neck rein, you can move all 3 body parts of his body with leg cues. He is smooth thru all his gaits, will trot short and collected or stretch him out to a long and cover some fence lines. In the time we have owned him he has never taken a lame step. He lopes slow collected circles and backs with collection and softness. He’s a big gelding with a soft personality. Buck is a in your pocket type of horse. He loves attention and is eager for a job. He would be a really good reined cow horse or ranch work horse. He has been trail rode, across water, rode alone or in a group and also can ride at night.

He is quiet in the pack and a low maintenance gelding. He stands calm for the ferrier and is an easy keeper with good barefoot hooves that have always been sound.
He stands calm in the cross ties and quiet at the mounting block. He ties well and loads in livestock/cattle trailers. He is up to date on his shots, teeth, coggins and sheath cleaned in the fall.
