Meet Miyagi

Miyagi is the best boy, and this hurts my heart to do.
Miyagi was pulled out of the wild on December 21st, 2024. He ran wild for the first 16 years of his life. He was then pulled in and gentled with us. He has been under saddle for about a year and is going along good. He walks, trots, lopes under saddle, goes over anything you point him at, has been to the beach and does well, does fairly well on trail rides. He really is a good boy. He’s an easy keeper, with a small amount of supplements (literally just senior feed and some msm), and keeps his weight in winter.
Miyagi has had his feet trimmed regularly every 8-10 weeks since we’ve had him, has been dewormed every six months, has had his vaccines, and teeth floated in the last year.

The ONLY reason I am selling him, is this. When he gets startled, sometimes he crowhops . It’s usually three or four times. It’s not everytime he gets scared, but it’s often enough that it’s becoming a safety hazard for me, as I don’t have a good seat. If he didn’t do that, he wouldn’t be for sale. Someone may be able to work it out of him with enough time, and the right training, it simply can’t be me.
