Spartan is the kind that you will dream about for the rest of time!

The first thing people notice about Spartan is that he's simply gorgeous. He is shapey with a big soft kind eye and he has a cool ranchy look about him that always gets attention. He's also a perfect size, easy to mount with great substance to him!

Spartan is just 13 years old, 15.1hands tall and weighs almost 1250lbs!
He is as gentle as a puppy and he’s one of the quietest horses we’ve been around! You can’t go wrong with this jaw dropping, black gelding! No matter what you point him at, he gives 100% with a calm, willing attitude. On the trail, he’s confident and steady, going through water, up and down hills, and across new terrain without hesitation. In the arena, he is responsive, soft, and smooth to ride.
His greatest quality, however, is his dependability. Spartan is safe for everyone, beginners, and husbands, yet broke and versatile enough for a more experienced rider to enjoy. He’s forgiving, kind, and always consistent, and is the same horse every time you saddle him. He’s the type you can trust to take care of his rider.
On the ground, he is just as easy. He stands quietly for grooming, saddling, the farrier, and the vet. He loads and unloads with no fuss, hauls well alongside other horses, and ties to the trailer patiently. He gets along well in a mixed herd but is also content in a stall.
