Pippa needs some extra attention to help her gain confidence as an independent riding horse, but is wonderful on the ground and very kind. She came from a benign neglect situation, and has flourished under my care over the last 6 weeks or so. Her previous companion was an elderly sheep! So she has been relearning what it means to be part of a herd, and has done so very quickly. She is UTD on teeth, vaccines, teeth floating, coggins and blood work (ruled out Cushings). We thought she might be a match for our therapeutic riding program but her coping skills and confidence need more of a boost. I think she would be a great fit for a family or individual home, and was told that she previously enjoyed trail rides.
