W/T great, L takes some encouraging - more whoa than go but can go faster with encouragement Pros * Does well with time off * Tolerant of green riders * Does well on trails- over logs, through water * Stands well at the block to mount/dismount * Good for vet/vaccines * Loads/unloads * Easy to catch * Does well in mixed herd *Barefoot, sound Cons * buddy sour - not specific to a single herd mate, he just doesn’t want to be alone- pulls back to friends/calls out if asked to go out alone * Sometimes dances a bit for farrier- no kicking/dangerous behavior and still only takes 10 minutes to trim - other times he stands great * will need light refresh/conditioning as he has been used for walking only due to main rider being pregnant Up to date on trims- last farrier visit 3/25 Will be due for vaccines/coggins/float- vet appointment scheduled 4/15
