Ellie, has been showing professionally for the past 7 years. She is a pro in the show ring and absolutely loves youth riders and adult amateur riders who prefer a smooth ride on a trustworthy horse. Ellie is truly a once-in-a-lifetime horse. She is quiet, mild-tempered, well-mannered, and knows her job. No vices. This is the only horse I would put my children on and not worry about their safety. That is saying alot! With the saddle on or the Showmanship shank, she gets right down to business with her partner. Ellie has been ridden and shown by adult riders and most recently by my two daughters who have transitioned to team sports full time, unfortunately. Ellie is very sound and has no medical history other than routine maintenance. She is an easy keeper overall. Hunt seat, western pleasure, equitation, horsemanship, and showmanship. No jumping. She is a well-oiled machine, in her prime and ready for her next show partner!

Ellie will do best with a family that works closely with an all-around trainer. Ellie is used to the routine of a performance barn and thrives in that environment. A family pasture with occasional riding is not ideal for this caliber of horse. She can take your youth rider to the AQHA youth worlds! Ellie is smart. She knows what to do. If your youth rider isn't quite sure, she will absolutely take care of that rider. She is a good teacher: patient and will wait for the correct queue to comply. A kind rider and trainer are a must. She's a clever girl, she doesn't need or deserve a heavy-handed rider.

For those not familiar with Machine Made, her sire. He and his line are known for: "Their trainability and his desire to please. This is what makes them such fantastic horses for non pros, amateurs and youths. It is the most common description used by trainers all over the country after riding their first Machine Made baby."

Note that Ellie is not pure black; she was born a buckskin and has coppery tones on her flank and face, more noticeable in the summer.
