Lucas is a registered Friesian gelding (16h) is a kind, steady horse with a big presence looking for his own person.
He spent many years as a lower-level dressage horse for an older rider, and over the past year has been in a lesson program. While he has been a good citizen, he clearly prefers a quieter, one-rider situation where he can build a consistent partnership.
Under saddle, he is a “more whoa than go” type, offering a comfortable, steady ride. He is currently schooling some Second Level work and is best suited for a rider interested in Intro through First Level dressage, with room to continue developing.
He is a kind horse who tries, but he is also aware of his surroundings and can be a bit looky at times. Combined with his size and presence, this means he is not a total beginner horse, but he is a great match for a confident advanced beginner working with a trainer or an intermediate amateur rider.
