Considering letting this one go due to lack of time. I really don’t want to, and you’re going to have to convince me that you’re worthy of him because truly only offered to the perfect home/rider/job! 😂 Loreto 2015 AQHA Appendix Gelding 16.2h. By Carters Cartel (Corona Cartel). Ran on the track with good success, came off and was started on the barrels and started to be patterned on poles by his previous owner. He runs 3D with me but I’m an English rider just dabbling in barrels and he’s been a lovely partner for me to play around with and have some fun learning the sport! He’s got more to give on the barrels but he also is going really nice as an English horse on the flat now too. I think he’d be really happy doing English or western dressage as well. I’ve trail ridden him a bunch, taken him beach camping, thrown a rope off him and he’s chased cows. For speed events he gets a bit excited with the adrenaline but he stays responsive and safe just doesn’t want to stand still kind of thing. I run him in a snaffle. I’d say not for a beginner for speed events just because he’s a big horse with a big motor. Very intermediate friendly tho. On the flat at home he’s very simple and easy. Same horse every day. Great on the ground, trailers well, does all the things. He’s just a solid all around dude and I love having him my barn. My jumper mare is back in full time work and I’ve got an exciting 3yr old that’s in full work now so he has been last on the priority list and I’ve just not had the time for him and he’s too cool to be skipped! He doesn’t need to go, I will be really picky. I don’t want this horse getting blown up, he really deserves the perfect home who can enjoy all he’s got to offer. No maintenance, I keep him on platinum performance GI to keep his belly happy. Located in Placerville CA Video: pretty much includes his full resume. https://youtu.be/5BRNhX3_SKI?si=ettz-F9_qq4MEmOC
